PALM BEACH, Aruba, Sept. 13, 2011, 3:41 p.m. EDT (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino is set to unveil a 10,000 square foot, adults-only swimming pool and recreational area. Complete with an expansive terrace featuring plush cabanas and a fully stocked lounge with premium libations, the 1.5 million dollar project will be revealed in November 2011.
Conceived with the needs of the Aruba Marriott's guests in mind, the new pool provides more than a place to swim. The coral stone pavement, meticulous landscaping and illuminated pathways with glass mosaic tiles of the adults-only pool area help create a serene ambiance for the space, which is large enough to host group receptions of up to 150 guests.
The new pool area trails the resort's four million dollar enhancement of the Stellaris Casino in February 2011 and complete 50 million dollar resort renovation in 2009. The renovation and addition of the adults-only pool further emphasizes the property's goal of providing premier luxury amenities that cater to the resort's wide-range of clientele.
"We pride ourselves on being a playground for all generations. Our free form pool will continue to provide an ideal place for all our guests to enjoy, the addition of an adult only pool area will provide another option for guests seeking a bit of exclusivity and serenity," said Antoinette Van den Berg, Director of Sales & Marketing for the Aruba Marriott.
The new pool is the perfect complement to Tradewinds Club, an adults-only, boutique hotel located within the Aruba Marriott. Perched on the top floor of the Aruba Marriott, the 49 room Tradewinds Club offers exclusive amenities such as access to a reserved beach area and a 1900 sq. ft. private lounge boasting panoramic island views and gourmet food and beverage selections served five times daily.
Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino boasts 411 guestrooms, each with private balconies overlooking lush landscape and sparkling waters of the Caribbean Sea. On property, seven restaurants provide fare from light to elegant, while the largest casino in Aruba, spa, free-form swimming pool and health club offer entertaining diversions.
